I am running a 3850 on my 450w psu that has bad 12v rails and since i updated my drivers its been blue screening whenver i alt tab in call of duty 4 or try to change the resolution?

Think it could be because my psu isnt powerful enough? i didnt have a problem only previous drivers yet i only tried them a handful of times but changed the resolution about 10times no exaggeratinos either

What make/model is your PSU?

Before you think about buying a new power supply, have you tried reinstalling the old drivers?

Can you play the game without crashing? If it only crashes when you Alt-Tab, then it is probably something software-related; be it your drivers, COD4 or whatever.
