Monitor powering down when attaching to 4850

I have just tried to fire up my new Titan Nero system and my monitor powers down when I attach it to the 4850.
Any advice welcome.

Try plugging it into the other DVI port on the 4850. Sometimes graphics cards in general (not just the 4850) like to default to the DVI port nearest to the motherboard.
