Monitor Problem - Dell U2410

Hey guys,

Had this problem previously with a 2408wfp and now a U2410. The U2410 was a replacement for the 2408wfp infact.

The monitor works fine for a few days. Usually I turn the monitor off but last night after shut-down I left it in stand by. Naughty, but that shouldn't destroy it.

Came back this morning. Turned the system on. The monitor lights were no. No image at all. Tried everything, different power cables ect. Tried hooking it up to a different PC. Can't even see the monitor menu. NOTHING at all coming from the screen. Just the bezel lights are on. Also, Windows seem's to pick it up.

What is going on? Anyone else experienced this? Any way of fixing this?

I am sick of swapping monitors with Dell. This is not looking good for when my 5970 graphics card for eyefinity comes.

Hmm, strange that the lights are working.

I can't turn mine off as it won't switch back on for some reason, really annoying seeing as this is my fourth and is pixel perfect. I'll be on the phone to Dell again next week, it's driving me nuts!
