Monitor Problem Yellow Line

When ever I start my computer and turn on my monitor and boot into windows I have this yellow line going from top to bottom on the screen, after awhile it disappears,

Anyone one know what could be the problem ? faulty monitor ?

Specs
C2D 2.4ghz
2gb ram
550ti gpu

Monitor is: 2408WFP

My 2408WFP has recently developed a purple vertical line on start up, just a few months out of warranty *sigh*. I've been told the monitor has become faulty, some component or another has fallen out of spec and needs a higher temp to operate correctly, hence the line going after the monitor has warmed up.

I think it's new monitor time - it's a shame as I can't find a suitable direct replacement, all the 1920x1200s seem to have a horrible AG coating (eg U2410) which I can't stand. It might just have to soldier on a while longer.
