I have a 20 month old Belinea artistline 22" widescreen monitor which seems to have developed a fault.
I just went to get ready for bed and when I came back there was a green line all the way down the screen about 2 inches from the left hand edge. I turned the monitor on and off and the line appeared as soon as the monitor came on, before the desktop appeared on the screen. About 20 seconds later the line disappeared.
From what I read online this would indicate that the monitor is starting to fail, is there anything I can do to fix it?
The Belinea website states 'defective monitors are exchanged for a product of equal value within 48 hours on working days.' Does this mean I will get a monitor of value equal to the initial purchase price, or something worth as much as my monitor is now (i.e. will I get another 22" widescreen like mine or end up with some 15" display)?
Does anyone have any experience with Belinea warranty claims?
