ok now ive got a DGM ocuk value 24" monitor and at the begining i was very impressed with it, overall it is a lovely monitor.
now it developed a fault with which i contacted dgm and they came and got it and a week later they returned it to me, but this is where the problem really started, the fault was worse to the point where the monitor has become completly unusable. now quite rightly the good people at dgm are sceptical about collecting it again, so i have sent them a email containing the below video clips that demonstrate the fault. would you good people have a quick look and just reassure me that it has to be the monitor that is at fault.

video clip 1.... 3.5mb

video clip 2.... 2mb

all comments welcome

oh yes and before anyone says send it back to ocuk it was one of the b grade ones, which of course absolves ocuk of any further dealing with it.

spoke to the manager of the repair people today, and he said to me that thier techs after watching the dvd i sent with it of the problem have never seen a monitor do that before, further more the boss has my monitor on his desk and hes been using it for the last few hours with no problems at all. They are willing to send out a new monitor to me early next week, but of course it proberbly wont be a pva panel like the last one.

Of course there is no guarantee that i wont have the same problem with the new monitor if they are correct and theres nothing wrong with the first one. any ideas what else could cause this problem, as if i can sort it out i could have my pva one back.

any comments welcome.

I know this might sound daft but is it actually the monitor at fault? I noticed on the first clip the screen did it's thing when a window was always selected.

well ive recived a new one back and its trouble free, been using it for a couple of days and so far not a single problem.

yes its a tn panel but its still a lovely monitor so im very happy with it.
