Monitor Problem

Let me start by saying I have a two monitor set up. One is a Samsung which is like 5 years old now and the other is an Asus PG278Q ROG Swift 27".

Now something very odd is happening, when I switch on my computer my Samsung monitor turns on and I see my desktop etc but the ASUS one doesn't. I have to unplug it for like 5 minutes then plug it back in and it turns on. I have no idea what is causing this. Has anyone else encountered this problem with monitors or an ASUS monitor?

Thanks!

Which GPU are you using? Have you tried using another output? Are you using Windows 10? If so, are you running the Creators' Update?

How about another port on the GPU?

I don't think it's a port issue because my second monitor is working fine plus the monitor has no power at all. It's getting to a stage where I have to unplug it for 5-10 minutes then plug it in and it has power. I think it may be the power unit on the monitor. Do they sell these power units separate so I can buy one?

EDIT: Scrap that, it's not powering on at all now.
