why 240hz?
most people go for 144 or 165hz
and theres far more choices in that range
though 240hz and even higher are appearing
not so sure you will notice
much of a difference from 144 or 165hz
240hz is a lot nicer than 144hz, some people can't notice it but some people can. Entirely down to the individual.

I much prefer using a 240hz monitor, it doesn't make me any better at games but I prefer using it.

i would love to stick to 240hz refresh rate monitors. 4k is over £1000. budget £500.
If you want to stick to Alienware, grab the AW2723DF (1440p, 240hz) - it's the pricier end of the 240hz panels for 1440p but it's nice.

Otherwise Overclockers are selling the MSI G274QPX - 27 inch, 1440p and 240hz. Seems to get some really good reviews!

yeah its quite possibly subjective
and if youre young (unlike me lol)
and have good reactions it may well work better for you
i guess its the old is there anywhere
you can go in person and see the product issue
before buying thing

not MSI fan, sorry. also, had 60hz, moved to 144hz and again moved to 240hz. so yes, i can notice a difference.
