Monitor PS4

Thing to consider, when using monitors (instead of TVs) with consoles, is the sound output.

Because the single HDMI cable would be carrying both the video + sound signal, you need to determine whether you should:

Connect your speakers with the monitor (if your monitor has an audio output jack); or

Use an optical cable for sound output (if you have a PS4 Pro or original PS4, PS4 slim doesn't have optical output); or

In absence of both, use HDMI audio splitter or connect headphones with PS4 controller and turn on all audio output on that.

It will be fine, just consider what jokerguy mentioned and you're good to go.

I use my monitor for my PS4 (AOC Q3279VWFD8) and never have any problems with it. Run my audio through the headphone jack.
