I currently have a 120hz 24" BENQ which suffers from backlight bleed and pretty poor blacks + colours and viewing angles when watching films. I currently game at 1080p max visuals with i4790 4.6ghz + 290 pro. I mainly play games on the PC and watch films, occasionally some console gaming all through the same monitor.

Looking for 24"-30" where I won't take a hammering on performance in games and also still be able to watch films with decent colours/blacks. I am not bothered about 120hz anymore, I just want a good all rounder with a small size increase from my 24". Budget is no more than £500

Any recommendations based on this? :D

Good shout! So do you have them side by side? Do you duplicate desktop and then throw the game over to the other monitor or do you have a DVI switch or something? How is gaming on the 29UM65 if you didn't use the BenQ? It's more resolutions that worry me, but could live with it.

I've only tried GRID 2, GRID Autosport and BF4 on the UltraWide.. GRID looked pretty good actually but BF4 seemed a little stretched..
But there's plenty of FOV fixes for running games at 2560x1080 - I just can't be bothered doing it when I prefer the 120Hz for shooter games :)

Haven't tried any other games on the UltraWide other than the above.
