Hello, wondering iff anyone here can recommend me the best monitor on a 98TI SLI setup.

The monitor i'm currently using is a 23 inch IPS, 1920x1080, 60hrz. I'm looking to spend a lot more than I have done with previous monitors but with all the curent panel problems surrounding them it feels like a minefield choosing which one.

I originally had the PG27AQ ordered, but partly due the wait and online reviews for the Asus IPS screens, switched it to the XB271HK. Unfortunately the few screens that were'available' weren't really, so again, i'd be looking at a few weeks waiting and again, online reviews for the Acer panels weren't filling me with confidence.

I don't play online much anymore, nor FPS', so lower hrtz aren't a huge issue. I do want G-Sync and above 27 inch. As RPG's are my passion, Resolution and good colour are what i'm looking for, so preferably IPS but it seems that all current IPS panels have problems :/.

So now i'm looking at the X34, which seems to fair better with screen problems but am unsure whether this would be the best fit for me.

Does G-Sync make that much of a difference?

If you want 27" and g-sync, what about the DELL? It's on offer at the moment, get it while it's still there ;)

G-sync just matches the FPS with the monitor refresh rate to remove tearing, stuttering and lag - I've only had my Dell for a few hours and I'm well impressed :)

Non-144hz Gsync selection is a bit poor atm tbh. Only real option is Asus PG27AQ but it's super expensive. Gsync is worthwhile but I think not for the cost to you compared to other monitor options available, especially if you don't mind tweaking your settings a bit with framelimiting.

Unfortunately with your requirements you have to make a hard choice: either play the monitor lottery (which tbf isn't that risky, if it's ****** you just return it) or lower your requirements. A more radical option would be (and I'd consider this) to switch to 2x Fury X, CF scaling is better anyway, and get a Freesync monitor instead, where the selection is much better.
