Hi, I'm in the process of putting a new PC spec together and would like to upgrade my 2 x 24" (1920 x 1080) dual monitor setup at the same time.
The system is used mainly for music production (60%), some video editing (10%) and Photoshop/other (30%). It's not used for gaming.
Most of my work is carried out on a single screen with the second screen being used for video preview, music plugins and Photoshop tools but often this could just as easily be done on one screen.
I've been looking at both 34" 21:9 ultrawide (3440 x 1440) and 32" 16:9 (3840 x 2160) monitors.
I like the extra width of the 21:9 format and that would allow me to effectively work as I do now with split screen plus I'd gain some screen height over my current set up - but I can also see the advantages a 32" 16:9 could bring with more screen height although less width compared to the 21:9.
I'm drawn to the flat screen Iiyama 34" G-MMaster GB3461WQSU-B1 as a possible option but the 16:9 32" options look good too!
Does anyone have any experience of using similar setups and who can offer any practical advice from day-to-day use that might help me decide one way or the other? Thanks
