My old Dell 2707WFP Monitor has developed some dark patches, takes ages to warm up, and is pretty much on the way out, but is the only monitor I have right now. So, I'm starting to look for a replacement.
What would you say is the most affordable 1440p, UHD or 4K DCI monitor, with accurate colour for professional video / photo editing -- I work with REDCODE / R3D footage and RAW stills -- but still fast enough for FPS gaming?
In terms of size and type; I need a panel that is at least 27 inches, but I don't mind if it's curved or super-wide.
I'm essentially looking for a jack of all trades monitor that offers the best of both worlds, and I'm currently running an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card.
Interested to check out everyone's suggestions!
