Hi,

I currently have (and have had since 2016) 2 of the following:

AOC Q2577PWQ 25" 2560x1440 IPS Professional Widescreen LED Monitor - Silver/Black

I am considering building a new pc and switching my desk and monitors but I can't seem to make up my mind if I will be better off with a single widescreen monitor (most likely curved), or just 2 newer smaller monitors. I don't want to lose much screen real estate, for info the PC is mostly used for work purposes although I do occasionally play a few games/watch something on the PC.

Does anyone have any suggestions, or feedback on 1 monitor vs 2?

Any help appreciated :)

For work purposes resolution in every direction is good.
And 3840x2160 (not 4 thousand in any direction) beats two 2560x1440 models even in number of pixels.
Though 100+ Hz models cost lot more than 60Hz models.
(still cheaper than vertically to 1600 pixels cut models)

Gigabyte M32U would be one of the best balanced reasonably available models at the moment.

Get two monitors. Which GPU do you have? I would be tempted to have a 4K monitor stacked above a 3440UW.

New PC came around a bit earlier than expected as my daughters suddenly decided to have lots of issues (and with it's age I can't see the point in fixing them as it was due for replacing with mine when I built a new one), so the GPU should be a 3060 Ti with an i7 11700F.

Gives me a little while to find something suitable though :)
