Well my monitor died last night and have replaced it with a new one, although I'd still like to use the broken one aswell.
Is having the monitor repaired worthwhile if even possible at all, and are there any decent places to have it repaired in Birmingham?
The monitor itself is a Samsung SM225MD. It was working fine and all of a sudden went blank. It still comes on and displays a picture for about a second then goes off although you can still see the backlight is on just no picture so to speak.
I wouldn't mind fixing it myself on the cheap but I have no idea whats wrong with it or how to find out. Any ideas?
