I had 2x LG 27" 27MP65 monitors. My 2nd monitor met with a little accident, didn't even take much of a knock on the top, but it was enough to knacker the screen. Tried going to LG but all I got from them was an e-mail saying the could help. I bought it 2nd hand and it was in great condition, it's not even that old on the back it says it was manufactured in March 2014. The monitor is now discontinued by LG and checking on ebay they are still going for about £150. I tried some local companies to see if they could replace the screen but none of them would.

I could try and change it myself if I could find the right screen for it. I've listed below all the details from the back of the monitor if someone could give me some pointers on what to look out for.

You really need to get the LCD out of it and look for a part number really, its very common for lots of monitors to use the same LCD unit,
You probably wont find a LCD screen with just the model number, you probably need the part number thigh may be on th LCD itself.

I'd be really spprised if you cant find on LG's are very popular, another option is to find a spares or repairs one that has the LCD unit still intacted, and swap them over, just make sure you get the same part number, just have to wait for one. One will come up for sure just have to wait for it.
