Monitor screwed?

just posting to confirm monitor is dead.

LG M227WD,had it for 4 and a half years, flickers then goes off.

Dead yes?

Is there any industry standard with mounting 22" monitors? This is all mounted and I want my new monitor to just fit straight onto the existing tv mount

Normally capacitors start bulging causing power problems, etc. May be fixable if you know a bit about electronics.

Most monitors comply with the VESA standard for mounting holes so make sure you check that if buying a new one..
