Monitor settings.

Hey guys.

I just got a new monitor/TV today, and I can't seem to get the right setting so that it's not too bright or two contrasted..

It's a Samsung XL2370HD, anyone got one and any good settings? I'm not a big fan of any of the presets..

Also, another thing about this Monitor, why does it keep reverting back to original colour settings even after I've changed it? After 10 minutes or so, it goes black for a second or two, then back to the default DYNAMIC setting.
