Hi All,

Im looking for some advice in regards to monitor setup, management and potential changes. I will be moving to a new house in the next 8 weeks and will have a dedicated office / gaming space so i will me backing some changes to my setup and wanted some advice.

My current monitors are the following: 2 x LG 27GL850-B 27 2560x1440 NANO IPS 144Hz 1ms FreeSyncG-Sync Compatible Widescreen LED Gaming (https://www.overclockers.co.uk/lg-2...freesync-g-sync-compatible-wid-mo-155-lg.html)

These are currently setup side by side on my desk on the standard desk mounts with the bezel's located directly in front of me. This has not been ideal as it causes my neck to stiffen and feel uncomfortable due to always having my head turned usually towards my left hand monitor so what changes would you recommend for the new property?

1. One monitor landscape directly in front of my line of sight and a second monitor in a portrait setup. (Not sure how good a portrait monitor would be for the likes of twitch, youtube, or general activity)

2. Use a stacked configuration with 2x 27inch monitors one above the other (Again not sure how this would be on the neck look upwards towards the second monitor

3. The last option would be to invest in an ultrawide monitor something roughly the same size of the two 27inch monitors. Bonus question: What would you recommend in this department?

Lastly if i was to change to any of these options what sort of mounts do you guys use and are they dual or single? I want to move way from the desk stands as they take up roughly half my desk which makes it awkard with mouse mats and other things.

Appreciate any support with this as its been driving me cuckoo trying to think of the solution and I'm not even sure how 2x 27 inch monitors in option 1 or 2 would look.

One useful fact is that a 34" 21:9 ultrawide is the same height as a 27" 16:9 monitor. So I went from 27 to 34" UW and effectively added my extra screen space off to one side.
