Monitor Setup

I've got a Dell S2417DG monitor via DP cable and am not happy with the colour, especially when watching films that are dark or have dark moments in games where the blacks > greys aren't smooth

What settings do I need to look at for this and what are the best online calibration tools?

What would you class as high?

I've set the nvidia settings to 0.89 for gamma with brightness/contrast at +50%

I don't remember exactly, it was set up for a friend but something like this was where we started iirc:

S2417DG:

Monitor: Brightness: 60 Contrast: 75 Colour: RTS

Nvidia: Brightness: 50 Contrast: 50 Gamma: 0.84 Digital Vibrance: 70 Hue: 0
