So I bought an LG24GM77 from overclockers, it arrived today and it's all good picture wise, except for one thing.
LG in their infinate wisdom, stuck the energy efficiancy sticker on the screen, rather than just on the bezel like on most monitors and it seems to have made a dark spot/shadow.
That sits exactly where LG put the sticker. It's not residue. It's noticible on dark colours, dark grey shows it the most.
Not having had a new LCD in a long time, is this something that will fade as the monitor is used/warmed up as the sticker has made that area colder or have LG applied too much pressure putting the sticker on and I should contact ocuk to get it replaced?
Edit:
Had it on for a good few hours now (had on in for a good while before making the post, doing different stuff, 0 improvement at all
.
Gonna drop ocuk a message then
. Looking at unboxings, it seems like it's normally on the bezel, but on mine, they stuck it on the screen
