Monitor "shakes" when desk light is on.

I have a CRT monitor.

I just found this out, when i turn my destop lamp on, my screen will start to shake, when i turn the light off, my screen doesnt shake.

Is this a problem with my monitor???

Its caused by electrical interferance try moving your desk lamp away from your monitor

My old CRT shook at random. Then I realised that the microwave and fan oven were just the other side of the wall........

Yeah that is caused by electrical interference it happens because an AC power source ossilates causing the flickering effect just move the lamp away from the monitor that's about all you can do with that I get the same problem with my desktop fan at work screws up the eyes. I should sue my employer for damage to my eyesight lol.
