For about a week now been having this happen during gaming only so far monitor loses signal audio of the game still running in one of the 2 games I tested and anything I have on in the background I can still hear, I have tried different Cables,Ports(3 dp 1 Hdmi on gpu) tried different monitors removed graphics drivers and reinstalled, I removed the GPU to reseat make sure the cables were firmly in place seemed to solve it for awhile them it happened again temp is about mid to high 70s max GPU and the same in the 60s for CPU forced to press power or reset button on my case to get it working. Thinking its the gpu but if this seems familiar to any I would appreciate any advice.

Edited it in build info, MSI VENTUS 3X OC GeForce RTX 3080 Ti 12 GB

ok so a new ish card,

1st, remove all overclocks, CPU, RAM, GPU and your pet turtle the lot, you cant push your system hard then ask what its not working
2nd, full bios reset, just because stuff happens and its normally in there
3rd, remove all blote wear that's not needed, MSI Afterburner, GPUz and so on. all the crap that running that just not needed. thats includes Corsair poo, Logitech poo and so on. so many systems go bad in its just some stupid FPS meter running

and then retest

the sort of lock your your talking about sounds like RAM, run testmem5 (TM5)
