I currently have a BenQ GW2760 27" (just upgraded with the new toy on the way) but have recently noticed an annoying high pitch squeal coming from my monitor.
It usually occurs when bright colours are on display (whites etc). I have tried going through the settings on the monitor such as brightness which makes no difference. It comes and goes during gaming/internet browsing depending on what page im on or what im looking at in game.
No idea how long its been doing it as I normally have headphones on with either music or a game on.
I have had a quick google but can only find stuff more relevant to old CRT monitors. With the new monitor on the way, I was either going to sell the old one to recoup a bit of money (wedding on the way...) or use it as a spare.
It is less than 12 months old so still has an active warranty so that option wouldnt be a problem. Bought it from here too so I know I should be fine there.
