Monitor stuck on digital power saving mode on a new build help please

Just put a new build together powered it all up and all i get on the monitor is digital power saving mode. Tried the monitor around my dads house it works fine on his pc.

I couldn't test the graphics card as he doesn't have a suitabile PSU.

My card is ATI HD5770.


My new system is

8 gig ram.
2600K
Asus P8P67

Corsair 720W PSU

I've reseated the RAM the card a number of times still nothing. Tried a new DVi Cable and still nothing


Any help please as i've been on this all day and i've really had a ENOUGH now

GPU has the 6pin PCI-E in it?

Yeah done that the fan on the card is spinning and seems to power up.

But no signal to monitor?
