I'm looking for some advice on what TFT screen to buy. Primary use will be
gaming - my main game is Everquest II so I'm looking for something fairly
pretty! I will also be using it to watch movies/DVDs.

The GFX card powering it will be a GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual
DVI (PCI-Express), not top end but then I can't afford top end! With that
in mind I'm not looking for a spend of over £250 on the monitor, ideally
I'd like under £200 (but I know this may not be realistic).

I'll also be looking for 22" + and it looks like widescreen is the way to
go (I've done some research and EQII is supported).

Any help/thoughts/advice greatly appreciated, thanks.

The 22" WS models have the same resolution as a 20" WS (1680x1050) and they have a cheaper panel (TN), so a 20" would be better unless you just want bigger for watching movies from further away. I would rather have a better panel than a slightly larger screen, especially as the TN panels have poor viewing angles.

I think £200 is pushing it a bit but with £250 there are a few choices, such as the Belinea 2225S1W 22" WS (£210.31 from OcUK). It does have quite a nice spec but on the other hand its limited to only having a VGA input and a TN panel.

I have two Dell 2007WFP's (20" WS) and I highly recommend them, especially now as they can be had for £265.79 - I paid £305 each for mine. It has 4 inputs (DVI, VGA, svideo and composite), a S-IPS panel and in my opinion look stunning.
