The U2410 is a cracking monitor and I personally had no tinting. I did however have multiple dead pixels and thickened pixel borders on some cells... all in all I sent it back as I wont accept even 1 dead pixel for that price.
Also bare in mind that Dell support is some of the worst I've come across, and frustrated me within the first 15 minutes of dealing with them. On the flipside a person I recommended to buy one had one with no tinting or pixel issues and continues to be very happy with this purchase.
You might want to remove the first link due to this. I'd suggest just posting the monitor make/model number - people can find details from that.
The ones you link to above use TN panels, so will be a fair step down from the quality of an IPS and not ideal for image editing. Here is a great article the explains the different monitor technologies very well.
