Sorry i wasnt sure where to put this, but i figured its card related so...

ive recently got my hands on another xbox 360 so i can play a few mates from work, they arent into pc gaming...

Anyhow, last year when i had one, i bought a monitor switch so i could use my pc and xbox on the same monitor, had no problems with it. Anyhow, ive changed my monitor, its the model up from the one i used to have, its a Yuraku (http://www.yuraku.com.sg/proddetails...d=149&catid=28)

Anyway, using the same switch again, i plugged them both in, booted my pc up, and now the monitor acts as if its zoomed in, if i unplug the switch and directly connect the monitor to the pc, its fine again. The only difference ive seen between my 2 monitors is that my current one can handle resolutions that arent native to it. I also experimented, i had the pc booted up, then plugged the switch in and connected it to my monitor, and it was fine. try to shut it down and it gave an error and shut down, booted up and its zoomed in again. I know you should not connect this way, but i was testing it out.

Any help would be great, thanks!

(i have a hd4870)

Any ideas on how to keep the desktop in its usual state instead of the zoomed in mode it seems to go into after a restart using the switch?
