Not sure if to post this on monitors, consoles or here, but it's a sound issue so I'll try here.

I have my pc rigged upto a pair of Creative GigaWorks T20 Series II speakers, thats all fine and dandy.

I just got a Iiyama ProLite E2475HDS monitor purely for ps3 gaming. I knew the inbuilt speakers were pretty worthless, so I want to try and hook up my ps3/monitors sound to my T20's via the aux in on the front as to still have them running my pc's sound also. Is this possible?

Thanks for your help!

Does the monitor have a 3.5mm audio out, to connect to external speakers?

If so, just get a 3.5mm both ends cable, and go from the monitor to the speakers aux in.

Now thinking about it I dont think it does, it only has an audio input one. So I think I'm going to have to get the sound directly from the ps3 via optical audio port. So I can either get a optical cable and plug it into my speakers also (not sure if it's possible or a good idea seeing as though they're already plugged into my pc) or get another pair of speakers to use with the ps3.

The T20's don't have optical.

If the PS3 can output audio via the RCA connections as well as HDMI at the same time, then you could buy a cable which you can connect the speakers.

I don't know if using the HDMI overrides the analogue output though.
