Monitor to MacBook cable

Hey guys,

I’m selling my monitor on the MM, and wondering if this cable will work?

Looking at a USB C to DP / HDMI

The reason being as my new monitor arrives end of week. I will be boxing my current one until it sells.

And when the person comes to collect, so I can show it working I want to be able to connect USB C to the monitor from my MacBook.

Is this possible with a cable I can buy?

on second thoughts..

would a USB C to HDMI adapter work better? then connect it via HDMI?

hmm....strange no one knows..

im gonna take a punt not he rainforest for a usb c to HDMI adapter.

You could get a USB-C dock that'll cover a few different outputs and add a little extra functionality?

its only needed to show the monitor working once I get my new one, my current MBA, I don't use much connected so a hub isn't really the best option for me.

which Macbook is?

its a M2 MacBook Air. Base model.
