Got £600 budget, what is the best monitor that would go well with a GTX 970??

I am only going to be playing Destiny on it.

Thanks.

Well, that's really a 1080P card in today's modern scheme of things, so while you could go 1440P, many games would see lacking performance, though 1440P opens up future GPU upgrades.

I'd personally suggest a 27" 1080P Gsync panel which you can totally afford.

Or you can get a Dell S2716DG which is a great 27" 1440P Gsync but you might have to run some games at 1080P which would look a tad blurry.

Friend of mine runs a 2500k/970 system with a 27" 1440p Gsync'd Acer and D2 ran really nicely for him. Gsync will certainly help to smooth out your frames if you can stretch to one. Plus it'll go nicely with a new gfx card when you do upgrade that :)

edit - I've seen the AOC AG271QG for under £600 if you have a little search around, perfect for your budget and looks really nice

I have the same card.
Today I purchased a LG 34UC79G ultrawide from here which is coming tomorrow. Its probably not the one for you seeing as its Freesync but for me it will allow me to get rid of two 24" monitors and try something other than 60hz whilst awaiting graphic card prices to make financial sense.

The £389 one? Yup, that's a bloody good deal atm!
