Monitor to replace Alienware AW2521HFL 24.5" monitor?

Hi guys.

I'm selling this monitor to my little brother so need a replacement. I would like to go up in size and resolution but retain at least 240hz (anymore diminishing returns).

What would be a good upgrade route say 27"? I have a 65" Philips 120hz OLED for normal games but play CS:GO mostly and is OLED an option now?

I’ve got a AW2723DF that I’m returning but don’t let that put you off - unfortunately I just can stand IPS monitors, they seem to trigger migraines in me after about 5 minutes use. That’s the conclusion I’ve come to after trying 3 or 4.

Anyway, the point I wanted to make is the AW2723DF is a stunning monitor in person. Fantastic build quality, very heavy, superb stand. For the few moments use I did have with it, the display is gorgeous. Comes with a calibration report. 280hz at 1440p is superb. If you have no problems with IPS, it’s a fantastic monitor. Plus there’s often a discount code or two flying around for dell. I got mine for £480 odd a few weeks ago.

Also yes @Vegeta , the 27in 240hz OLED monitors are due any time now and even up for pre-order on OcUK.

Going to try yeah, pinned my hopes on OLED - one of the 27” models whenever there is stock. The Corsair looks pretty good.

IPS kills my eyes. I’m stuck using a basic 24” TN at the moment as it’s oddly the only thing I can stand.

I may wait for the OLED's prices are high but at least then I get everything i'm after OLED 240hz so no need to upgrade for a long time (unless they bring out some other technology we all would be wanting no doubt).
