I have a crt tv that needs replacing it is in the same room as the pc, would like to get rid of the monitor aswel
what would be better a normal tv (sony kdl w5710) or a tv monitor combo like thisAcer AT2358ML 23 inch Freeview LED TV / Monitor dont really need the freeview tuner as I have a freeview recorder
Im tempted to buy from sonys new range like the ex724 for the living room and use my w5710 for pc and tv upstairs at a cost of £950
But at £180 I would be stupid not to consider the at235ml even Asus VG236HE 23" TRUE 120Hz 3D Widescreen LCD Monitor at £200 is looking good but only 1 hdmi so have to swap between freeview pvr and pc blu ray.
As i cant see until I buy I cant see the quality what i dont want is whites that are too bright and blacks that are too black with no detail that I have seen on sub £200 Toshiba tv you get free from e2save, my monitor with tv card did this too adjusting the brightness and contrast does not help
