Hi
I'm looking to do a bit of gaming whilst stuck at home. Its been many years since I last did.
I didn't have a GFX card, so after much research ended up buying an MSI 1660 Super.
Its more than enough for now and for my needs. I will look to update the rest of this rig in the years to come. My i7 is Haswell and its been fine for what I use this PC for. Now I want to game a little and need a new monitor I reckon.
I looked at the back of this monitor and it seems the DVI port stuffed up because I am using the RGB instead through a convertor into HDMI.
New GFX has 3 DP and 1 HDMI. New monitor either needs to be a good 1080P monitor (I have always had 1920x1200) OR I don't mind looking at 1440P monitor now if its good value. Then I won't need to update again in the near future.
I will update my GFX buy waiting for next Series and then will update Mobo, CPU and Ram too.
I dont play shooters. I love them but I'm awful at them. I've downloaded Elite Dangerous and was going to give that a go. Also might reinstall Crysis again and play that. Will the remastered version cost munneh if you already have the original version?
Any suggestions on the monitor(s) would be great thanks
