I'm thinking about upgrading my monitor.
I currently have an AOC G2460PF which does the job but next to my fiancee's 5 year old cheap Benq monitor the colours are extremely washed out which I knew was the case when buying it so have no remorse but I have been looking at alternatives.
So I was looking at this:

Apart from the obvious (bigger and a higher resolution) would this warrant an upgrade. With it being a tn panel will it have the same washed out colour problems as the AOC?
My other worry is whether I can run 1440p? Current have an rx480 and an i5-6500. I'm looking at upgrading to Vega or it's successor but it won't be for at least a year. I'm currently playing WOW, FFXIV, Overwatch and other odds and sods.
I'm after a monitor that will last a long time, any other suggestions.
It doesn't HAVE to be 144hz but it would definitely be a bonus.
Any thoughts?
