Monitor upgrade for my dad

My dad is looking for an upgrade in size from his existing monitor (21"). He uses his computer for photo editing primarily. As far as I'm aware, he wants something around the 24-26" size (bigger the better). Budget would probably be around £250, £300 absolute maximum I would say.

What can you recommend? I have really no idea what is good value and worth buying.

Dell U2515H ?

Not really sure if that's overkill for what he needs/wants, but its a good monitor and within the price range.
