Monitor Upgrade From Asus PB278Q

Hi, I've had an Asus PB278Q for about 10 years and looking for an upgrade to go with my new PC. Would https://www.overclockers.co.uk/lg-2...-widescreen-gaming-monitor-mon-lgc-02150.html be a worthwhile upgrade over what I currently have? Both 27" 1440P but my current monitor is 60hz only. I like the though of an OLED but not the cost.

Any feedback on the monitor or other suggestions welcome.

Should be a decent upgrade from your original monitor but an oled would blow the socks off you original ,£420 puts you in reach this seems to be a decent option if oled temps you.

Thanks Micky, the only thing that puts me off OLED is the flickering I’ve read about online but I’ve not tried an OLED myself to see how bad it is or if it would be noticeable to me. OLED does seem like the best upgrade.

It's difficult when spending nearly double the price for an oled but sometimes you have to take the plunge to reap the rewards but then be slightly disappointed if tearing becomes an issue.

Your getting a new high end build so a decent monitor makes sense.

Yeah, I have built my new PC and it’s great and deserving of a new monitor. My ASUS has lasted well so happy to go with them again for this monitor.
