Hi folks,
I've had a 19" CRT (Hansol) for a few years, it's been great, but I want to upgrade to a bigger, newer monitor. I've had a read on here and on digitalversus, and I'm thinking of the following choices:
[22" 2ms] Hyundaï W220D, which digitalversus rave about
[22" 2ms] LG Flatron L226WU, which again digitalversus say is very good
[24" 5ms] Samsung 2443BW, which I've heard good things about (especially on here)
I think that 24" may be overkill (too big), and that 22" will be a better size for me. I play mostly games (RPG, MMO, some FPS) so I'd like a fast response (hence the 2ms 22" models I've picked out).
Has anyone got any thoughts or comments on the above 3 models in relation to one another ? I think my first choice at the moment is the Hyundaï - has anyone used one ?
Also, I currently have quite an old PC (AMD X2 4200, 2GB RAM, nVidia 8800GT 512 MB) - will this be a bottleneck with any of these monitors ? I plan to get a new mobard, CPU, RAM and maybe GPU in the next few months, but I'd still like to be able to take good advantage of the new monitor straight away if possible.
Thanks in advance
