Monitor upgrade recommendation

Hi all,

I'm looking for some advice about recommendations to upgrade my pc monitor.

I currently have a Predator XB1 but rather fancy something a bit bigger. 4k would be nice but happy to stay at 1440. CUrrently gaming on a 2080Ti.

I;m not a huge fan of the ultrawide form, as I also use the monitor for work, so would prefer to stay at 16:9 - but am open for persuasion!

What I don't want to do is skimp on picture quality - I sometimes take my tower to my OLED in the Living Room but it's a real faff to do that so would like a really good monitor in the study.

Appreciate any suggestions.

They did announce some smaller sizes as CES they were going to produce so you could wait for one of those, but yeah the 48 is a touch too big. You need a deep desk. Other than that then your only options really is a 4k version of what you have which are quite expensive as the Acer X range is their top line. You wont match picture quality of an OLED though. I think I'd wait for a smaller OLED (I am as I have an ACER XV273X). HOw long before we see them, who knows. If you got some £££ burning a hole, you'll probably be able to bag a 3080 before you see smaller OLEDS. Can't remember if they gave delivery timescales with their announcement.
