Hey guys so i'm using a Samsung SA700 120hz monitor at the moment and i think it's time i move on to a new monitor.

I have a budget of around £540 at the moment, Any ideas on what the best monitor would be to get solely for gaming.

I have a EVGA GTX 780 Classified watercooled at the moment by the way if that helps.

Thanks guys

Hi there! Were you looking to stick with a high refresh rate monitor? If you are and you're looking to blow your whole budget and then some, the Asus ROG Swift is supposed to be very good, and pretty much ticks all monitor boxes (27", 1440p resolution, 144Hz, G-Sync):

However, it might be worth waiting until the Freesync monitors land in the next month or two in case they have an effect on G-Sync monitor pricing (there's no guarantee of that happening though). There are also other G-Sync monitors coming out then - have a look over here:

If you don't want to splash all of your cash, there are cheaper 1080p monitors that still do G-Sync:

And if you're not bothered about G-Sync (I've personally seen this one in the flesh and can say it's a lovely monitor):
