Been considering this for a while now, however i've always held back on actually doing it, Currently I've got two BenQ 1080p panels (both are VA panels I believe) and it works flawlessly with my EVGA 970 ACX.

That being said, I've looked into G-Sync and was curious if the AOC G2460PG is any good? However I'm not sure if a single 970 could make the most of a 144hz panel alongside G-Sync? At the moment my 970 can pretty much do most games on ultra settings at 1080p, but wanted to see other peoples opinions on this and whether its worth the investment due to being out of the loop myself.

You can answer that question yourself by using a program to display the fps when you are gaming, and seeing whether anything actually makes it over 100 or so more often than not.

That's apart from the Gsync smoothness benefit.

But to be honest, you have 1080p screens already, and your next monitor upgrade ought to increase resolution to 1440p. Personally I would keep what you have for now.
