So it's finally time for my to put my 23" monitor to one side. It's an old Samsung thing, 1920x1080.

I am completely clueless with Monitors, like completely!

My budget is £350 max. And the aim is to do your normal day to day internet browsing and occasionally for little bits of gaming here and there. I mainly simulation race in VR and rarely play first person shooters! The kids play Minecraft if that counts! I also do work on Photoshop and Lightroom.

Bar that, the other main thing will to use as a TV when the wife steals the main TV. I will Netflix 4k/Ultra on the TV so I'd love to bring that over to this monitor.

Finally, and if possible, 32"!? I do sit just over 2 feet away from the PC so I guess 27" would be ok? But I'd be getting rid of my small second monitor and assumed having 32" would be better?

Any help is appreciated, as always.

Keep your old monitor and use it as a secondary monitor.

Right, so you want good colours which means an IPS panel. Which GPU do you have? I'm thinking of a 24" 1080p 144 Hz IPS monitor or a 27" 1440p high refresh rate IPS monitor.

You're not going to get a decent 4K monitor for that money

Some food for thought:
