Hi all,

Just looking for some advice. I have ordered a new graphics card (Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6GB) to replace my GTX 550 Ti :D. I am also needing to upgrade my monitor (currently a Samsung SyncMaster 226BW, so I think anything will be an improvement!).

I will be using it for office work during the day and casual gaming in the evenings.

Looking for something around £400 and happy for anything around 24-28 inches or so.

Thanks :).

Welcome abord.

What kind of games do you play?
Anything faster paced or just slow paced games?
Though that Nvidia won't be anyway very fast with any monitor which is real upgrade.
Meaning 2560x1440.

VA panels which offer the way best contrast of LCDs and hence good looking image in dark room start from £260.

More balanced performance giving IPS models start from £300.

Thanks EsaT :).

I’ve been mainly gaming on consoles, playing a variety of games such as CoD, Rocket League, Borderlands 3 etc.

I don’t have a specific game I’m wanting to play at the minute (apart from Red Alert Remastered :)). I know my new card/monitor won’t be the best in the world , but I’ll definitely notice the difference!

I’ll take a look at your recommendations, thanks :).
