Monitor upgrade??

Good morning
I currently have a Asus PB287Q 4K monitor that I use purely for xbox gaming.

It supports only 60hz and no HDR. I don't play online multilayer so frame rate is not important but just want the best graphic experience I can get.

I don't have a large budget at all so just wondering if it's worth getting an upgrade on a budget or if you need to spend in excess to see any meaningful difference?

For your use case (Xbox gaming, no online multiplayer, on a budget), stick with your current monitor.

• Xbox Series X|S can output 4K@120Hz and HDR, but most games that truly benefit from it (fast-paced competitive titles) aren’t your focus.
• On a budget, you’ll likely downgrade from true 4K to 1440p or get mediocre HDR that won’t look noticeably better than your solid Asus PB287Q.
• Meaningful upgrades (good 4K/120Hz/HDR monitors) start around £500-£600+.

My advice: Save your money until you can invest in a proper 4K high-refresh HDR panel (like a 4K/120Hz with HDMI 2.1). Until then, you won’t see a big enough difference to justify the cost.
