Quick question if anyone knows, I was curious if I could see how many hours my monitor had been in use, so for my monitor, Dell S2716DG I followed a reddit post :

First turn on the monitor, then with the buttons on the bottom right of the monitor numbered 1-5 left to right, with 5 being the power button. Press and hold 2 and 4 for five seconds and then release both at the same time. Pressing button 4 a couple of times should then bring up the service menu.

which worked.

My monitor shows 208days uptime, but I was curious I am assuming this doesn't take into account being in sleep mode correct?

Well I checked again this morning and this monitor does count sleep as uptime (to be fair I had to disable the deep sleep feature as it does not wake with the PC and requires either unplugging/plugging in or hard restart of the PC). It went from 208days 8 hours to 208days 20 hours overnight.

Your S2716DG is a spring chicken compared to mine, just checked it and its showing 2548d:12h:25m!

Damn! That is a lot, how long have you had it? I think I got mine in mid 2019. Although weirdly I have a vague thought that I may have had this once replaced at some point under warranty, its worrying that I cant remember for certain.

2710d:15h:51m on mine! at some point I'll probably have to replace it but still does the job for gaming 1440p, decent enough image quality, 144Hz with proper G-Sync, just have to be a bit careful with static images as while it doesn't permanently burn the screen it can result in some temporary image retention.

Mine is a very close to release date one - got it after the Asus ROG Swift equivalent turned out to be a shower of ****.

EDIT: Kind of funny this Dell will probably do in the region of 10+ years, I went through several of the Asus which didn't even last 10 weeks before various serious problems appeared.
