Monitor USB lighting.

I've been using bias lighting on my gaming monitor for awhile - though you'd need a fairly big strip to work with the X34 - if you have the right colour wall and right distance behind it it works surprisingly well for increasing the perceived colour "pop" and black depth.

Not sure I'd use an LED strip over a normal lamp or room lighting though for ambient light.

if you dont mind me asking, if you say you wouldn't use leds over room lighting, why do you ? :)

Not saying wouldn't use LEDs over other lighting - I just like a larger area to be ambient lit than just the area a USB strip on the monitor would do and personally think it better on the eyes when more of your field of view is averagely lit. I use bias lighting on top of that.

ah ok cool thanks. i have to admit, the setups look cool. not sure i want a big ugly strip on the back of the monitor but i guess you dont stare at that too much!
