Monitor very dull and grainy looking

Hi all, I've bought the MSI Optix G27C 27" 144hz monitor..

Compared to my old asus monitor it's very dull/grey/grainy and hurts my eyes after about half an hour..

I have tried every setting possible and nothing seems to make it more colourful.

Is this just poor quality or a faulty product?

Also i'm wondering if Overclockers would accept me to exchange it for another monitor?

The specs look good apart from the 8ms response time, if its for gaming that is. But if you are not happy contact OCUK

Thanks for your reply but it's been returned.

It was 1m/s response time.

The colours were just terrible

Ahh okay, I must have got the wrong monitor up. What have you ended up going for then?

What connection are you using? - if HDMI make sure you are using full range RGB - though I'm assuming you are on DP if using 144Hz.
