I have seen a Medion 22" monitor and the specs are as follows

  • Visible screen diagonal 55.8cm
  • Brightness typ. 300cd/m2
  • Multilingual on screen display
  • Integrated power supply
  • Low radiation accordingly to TCO 03
  • Viewing angle: horizontal 178°/vertical 178°
  • Maximum Resolution 1680 × 1050
  • Response Time typ = 5ms
  • DVI-D and VGA Interface with HDCP Encryption and Automatic Signal Detection
  • Contrast Ratio = 1000:1
  • 2 Built-in Speakers
  • Dimensions: 397 (H) × 524 (W) × 224mm (D)
Now the viewing angle is 178/178
Does this mean its a PVA panel rather than TN?
I thought that non-TN 22" were not the norm and certainly not as cheap as £150?

All the specs that were there are in my opening post. I also agree, I think its likely to be TN as I have seen some of the Dell TN montiors with viewing angles of "178/178" as well.
