Hi

I am looking for a few monitor wall mounts for 24-27" monitors with full motion, I want to be able to move them to pretty much any angle just by grabbing the monitor and moving it.

Anyone use these and have recommendations?

Thanks

I have a number of different types of bracket. I think there are two categories really.. those for monitors that aren't moved much and those that are moved often. If you mostly leave the monitor in the same place then any cheap bracket will do. Watch out that you can rotate the monitor though to set it's level because some you can't. If you intend to move the monitor frequently then you definitely need a gas arm. These start at about £30 and go up rapidly. For a name brand you will pay over £100. I have both cheap and expensive in the house. The cheap one is a no-name mount, the gas one is a Humanscale M8 that I picked up cheap from ebay. That has been very good indeed, and once set to the weight of the monitor allows it to move easily in any direction. There are plenty of different makes of gas arm about.

Hands down, one of these

Not cheap mind!

There are others like the allwiner but found others can't take the weight like the ergotrons can.

Currently have 2 of them. One with a asus pb278q(27) and one with a sammy hg70 (32)

Thanks both.

Pete, that's exactly what I was looking for thanks, I didn't see it in any lurches I made before posting but it's ideal. There about £100 which isn't too bad, you get what you pay for.

I've just bought 2 of these, I've never had an ergotron to compare quality but i can't honestly think what the ergotron would do that this doesn't to justify its price premium

ooops, competitor link removed

I've bought (for £25 each) 2 of these
North Bayou TV LED Monitor Wall Mount Bracket with Full Motion Articulating Swivel and Gas Spring for 17-27 Inch Flat Panel Displays

The gas arm lift strength can be adjusted to suit the weight of your monitor. the other "knuckles" can be tightened/loosened to suit how easily you want it to move.

Thanks, I already have one of these in my basket on Amazon, wasn't sure looking at it how close it goes back to the wall?

I may order one of each and see which is best for the cost.
