Monitor wanted

So im on the look out for a top notch monitor somthing that will blow me away.

My current specs are

MSI Z87-GD65 GAMING
Intel Core i5-4670K OC to 4.4
Corsair Hydro Series H100i
2x Sapphire Radeon R9 290X Vapor-X OC 8192MB
SuperFlower Leadex GOLD 1000W Fully Modular


As you can see that is pretty darn powerful. At one stage I was about to go for a 4k but iv been reading reviews and doesnt seem to be worth it at the moment so im kinda wondering what shall I go for now?

My budget is 900 pounds

I am a 4K gamer and love it but would have loved to have tried the super wide monitors that are out. 4K is where the big push is coming and the majority of the panels are TN (which isn't a bad thing) or very very pricey for IPS.

Do you mind me asking what are your specs and would you have most games on high?

Sure, I run a 3930K @ 4.6Ghz - SLI Titans - 16GB 2133Mhz RAM @2333Mhz - EVGA Supernova G2 1300W PSU - Asus RIVF MOBO and all water cooled.

I did some benching as well to show what is achievable with my system and I would expect yours to get the same, if not slightly more at 4K

Windows 8.1 I have found to be fantastic for 4K :)

Hmm, with that budget, it'd be a tough choice between that 34UM95 and a ROG swift for me, even though Gysnc wouldn't be part of the equation.

Very different screens, but both so very tempting in their own way.
Super wide with uber res or 1440p/144hz?
